I have spent the last twenty years attending writing workshops across America. I was long listed in the National Poetry Competition United Kingdom in 2017; a Winner of the Eastern Iowa Review’s Lyric Essay Contest in 2018; a Top Ten Finalist in the Fish Short Memoir Prize contest in 2018; a Runner-Up in The Masters Review Reprint Prize 2023; a Finalist in Cutthroat’s 2023 Barry Lopez Creative Nonfiction Contest and a recent Honorable Mention Winner in Seneca Review’s 2023 Lyric Essay Book Prize.
